How Can abdominal Pain Along With Vomiting Be Treated?

I have a UTI that I was prescribed sulfamethoxazole for. I had severe pain and vomiting last night. This was the first day I took it. I went back this morning and was prescribed ciprofloxacin. I have just taken the second dose and my feet and hands are itching horribly. Should I continue with this new medicine. I read on the reactions to this drug that you should go to ER if you experience burning anywhere in your body. Will a benedryl help.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, right now you are having allergic reaction to the drug. You must immediately visit your doctor without taking the next dose and inform about your symptoms, so that your medication can be altered. Benedryl will not help you in this situation. Apply calamine lotion for the itching.

Take care,
Regards
